About Elena
I’m a Fitness Instructor and Health Science Graduate based in Cape Town, passionate about health and wellness. I’ve experienced firsthand the rewarding feeling that comes after a workout and understand that achieving your desired body requires ongoing commitment and dedication. My workout style blends high-intensity interval training with controlled exercises for targeted toning and strength building.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, I launched an online training app, BodE, which has grown to house over 300 workouts, seven unique programs, and five talented trainers, attracting thousands of subscribers worldwide. My mission is to empower individuals to embark on their fitness journeys from home, regardless of their fitness levels. Together, we can work towards becoming healthier, fitter, and stronger versions of ourselves!
About Angelica
Dance has shaped so much of who I am. From the age of four, I trained across multiple styles and went on to compete both locally and internationally, earning several South African titles along the way, as well as a World Championship.
That journey sparked a lifelong love for movement, discipline, and self-expression, and eventually led me to teaching. Today, as a qualified Barre and Barre & Baby instructor, I love creating classes that are uplifting, challenging, and grounded in strong technique.
Alongside this, I’ve built a career in marketing and currently work as Head of Marketing for a global fitness company — combining both creativity and wellness in the work I do every day.
About Tristan
Hi, I’m Tristan Staegemann, a certified Bootybarre and STOTT Pilates instructor. My lifelong love for movement led me toward anatomy and the human body. In my BodE library, you’ll find Pilates and Barre classes designed for all bodies.
My Barre classes feature fun, low-impact, high-intensity movements inspired by ballet, Yoga, and Pilates. Pilates classes are crafted to strengthen and heighten body awareness with a focus on alignment—helping improve posture and reduce injury risk so you can move freely daily. My goal is to show you that exercise can be uplifting, empowering, inspiring—and fun!
About Linda
I’ve been sharing my love for movement for over 22 years, and it has changed my life profoundly. I want to share that joy—of moving and strengthening through every stage of life—with you.
With 18 years of ballet training at the Royal Academy of Ballet and years on stage as a contemporary dancer, I’m also a fully certified Pilates instructor. I opened fully equipped studios in Pretoria (2007) and Johannesburg (2014) called My Pilates. I teach freelance at The Movement Lab and The Yoga Collective, and I host retreats across South Africa. It’s been an incredible journey—I look forward to sharing my knowledge and experience with you.
About Alexia
Movement has always been a part of my life. Many years of dance ignited my love for Pilates. After carrying two beautiful babies, my respect for Pilates grew—even deeper. Emerging stronger than ever, I developed a keen interest in pregnancy and postpartum fitness.
The Joseph Pilates technique forms the foundation of my methods, and I’ve taught full-time for over 10 years. Teaching has become a space of joy, especially seeing the physical—and more importantly—mental transformation in my clients. This impact keeps me immersed in this lifestyle.
